Palafox Market Is Flourishing This Month With Fresh Flowers, Homegrown Produce, Local Art and More

posted in Market News, Press Releases on March 5, 2021

A Downtown Pensacola tradition, Palafox Market draws locals and visitors to the sunny, tree-lined paths of Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza every Saturday. Each week, from 9am-2pm at Palafox Market, you’ll find plenty of local small business owners, an eclectic array of fresh Spring flowers, locally-grown seasonal produce, handcrafted items, fine art and baked goods—and locals and visitors browsing, shopping and enjoying the laid back, farmer’s market.

The Downtown Improvement Board event has been drawing visitors to the downtown district for the past 15 years and is consistently voted Best Outdoor Market and Best Place to Buy Local Produce in local reader polls. Palafox Market was also voted Florida’s Best Farmer’s Market by Southern Living. The free farmers market occurs every Saturday from 9am-2pm, rain or shine.

To ensure everyone’s safety, Palafox Market operates in accordance with public event regulations and the latest CDC guidelines. Visit floridahealth.gov for the most up-to-date resource for information and guidance regarding COVID-19 in Florida.
