The Pensacola Wine Festival is a collaborative event created by the fine dining restaurants and wine merchants of Downtown Pensacola and the Pensacola Downtown Improvement Board. Now in its 5th year, the Pensacola Wine Festival this year features a Grand Tasting Event to celebrate the multitude of quality wine offerings available year-round in downtown Pensacola at it's fine restaurants, wine shops, and wine bars.
Enjoy "The 2011 Grand Tasting," stretching for three blocks along a closed Palafox Place (from Garden Street to Government Street) in the core of the historic district. Enjoy the works of talented local artists and live music as you sample more than 150 wines from almost a dozen distributors throughout the world.
Only 750 tickets are available for the event, which has sold out in prior years. This event will take place rain or shine. Tickets are $30 per person and will be available, Saturday, April 16, 2011, starting at 2:00 p.m. in front of Distinctive Kitchens, 29 S. Palafox Place in Downtown Pensacola. Tickets sold on Saturday at the Grand Tasting event may only be purchased with Cash or a major Credit Card. No checks.
